From November 1, 2025, the toll on the Perito Moreno Highway—at the Parque Avellaneda toll booth—will be exclusively digital: payment will only be possible with TelePASE or automatic license plate reading. Those not enrolled in the system will receive an automatic fine of $119,776.50, applied by the intelligent traffic system. With this measure, more than 109,000 daily users will benefit from more agile traffic, without stopping at toll booths, which will reduce travel times and improve road safety.
Removal of toll booths and progress towards 100% intelligent highways The new scheme implies the definitive elimination of toll booths, replaced by automatic payment gantries and free-flow lanes in both directions. This change adds to the transformation that began with the Paseo del Bajo in 2019, followed by the Illia Highway in 2023, the Alberti toll booth that same year, and the Parque Avellaneda toll booth in 2025. AUSA's goal is that by 2026, all highways in the network will operate under the Free Flow system, eliminating barriers and streamlining traffic.
How to enroll in TelePASE To avoid delays and sanctions, drivers must enroll in TelePASE, a free and 100% digital system. There are different ways to do this:
Through the official website (telepase.com.ar): you can register the license plate and request the device for pickup or home delivery. At enabled points: more than 300 nationwide, with activation in 72 to 96 business hours. Through the Mercado Pago app: you enter the license plate and manage the device, which arrives in 24 hours or can be picked up for free. TelePASE has no fixed costs and only pays when used, allowing the use of all AUSA highways without the need for cash or printed tickets.
